another day..another run…
again, the pace was pretty consistent…it tailored off a bit around miles 3 and 4 but i pulled it together at the end…i’m definitely at the point where i can breeze through the initial miles of the run…during my first week back, i definitely had to push to get to miles 3 and 4…now though, i am back up to running 5/6 miles well..
i think right now i am going to focus on consistently running at least 5/6 for a while and occasionally going up to 7 when i feel good…the past couple of days, my pace has been under 9 which is good, but hopefully i will be able to reign that back down to 8 min/mile which is where i was about 3/4 years ago when at all my races i could keep that pace up to the half marathon distance..
